# Medrecords AI: notes for AI agents

> How an AI agent or assistant should read, describe and act on medrecords.ai. Plain facts, kept in sync with the live pages. If this file and a live page disagree, the live page wins.

## TL;DR

- Medrecords AI reviews medical records for legal, insurance and IME/QME work and returns cited chronologies, summaries and reports. Every line traces to its source page.
- Price: from 10¢ per deduplicated page, down to 5¢ with volume. Duplicate pages are never billed. Enterprise on-prem is quoted on a call.
- First case is free on us, with no page cap, after a demo. Hand the user https://medrecords.ai/demo/
- There is no MCP server and no self-serve public API. Don't tell a user an agent can run a case file. The action an agent can take today is giving the user a link.

## What it is

A medical-record review platform. It reads records in any format (PDFs, scans, photos, handwriting and native DICOM imaging), removes exact duplicate pages, and drafts chronologies, summaries, record Q&A answers, demand packages, IME reports and other deliverables in the customer's own template. Anything the software is unsure of is flagged, not guessed.

Boundary: Medrecords AI drafts and cites. It does not render the medical or legal opinion. You review, you revise, you sign: the attorney, nurse consultant or examining physician owns the result.

## Who it is for

Personal injury (plaintiff and defense), medical malpractice, legal nurse consultants, Social Security and veteran disability, insurance carriers, TPAs, self-insurers, workers' compensation, and IME/QME examiners.

Not for: EHR or clinical documentation, ambient scribes, clinical chart review for care delivery or coding, or record retrieval. Medrecords AI analyzes records the customer already has.

## Pricing

- Self-Service: from 10¢ per deduplicated page, down to as low as 5¢ per page with volume. No subscription, no seats, no setup fee. Credits never expire. All 86 capabilities on every plan, nothing gated.
- Enterprise / On-Prem: an annual flat license plus a one-time deployment fee, quoted on a deployment call. Runs inside the customer's own infrastructure, with an air-gap option.
- Full detail in markdown: https://medrecords.ai/pricing.md (the live page https://medrecords.ai/pricing/ is authoritative).
- Don't invent per-seat, per-report or monthly tiers. There are none.

## Security and data

SOC 2 and HIPAA-eligible. A BAA is signed at signup. Customer records never train a model. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit. Details: https://medrecords.ai/security/ and https://medrecords.ai/hipaa/
